Case Facts
After the accident, the family needed guidance and an understanding about how the process worked.
Because of the death of this wonderful man, the family lost his love, care, comfort, and society for the rest of their lives. Based on this information they reached out to GJEL Accident Attorneys. They wanted to know:
- Who is responsible for my medical bills?
- How will I pay these bills and the loss of work?
- What if I have permanent lifelong damage to my body?
The staff at GJEL were able to quickly evaluate the case over the phone and meet with the family by Zoom.
Based on the death and the desire to move forward with the case our clients decided to retain GJEL Accident Attorneys.
The staff at GJEL started a full investigation which involved our in-house investigator speaking to multiple witnesses and our lawyers going to the scene of the accident. The firm filed a lawsuit on behalf of all the family members.
Attorney Jim Larsen helped our clients through this difficult time and was ultimately able to settle this case prior to the trial date. This case took approximately one year to resolve. In the end, our client was awarded $2,250,000 for this accident by Farmers Insurance Company after aggressive representation.
